ObjectWeb宣布 ProActive 3.1 发布。

ProActive是一个网格中间件, 提供了一个可以进行并行, 分布式计算的灵活的安全的框架。ProActive提供了一个全面的API从而简化了分布式(局域网上的，并联的工作站，Internet网上的)应用程序的开发。

新版本的特性:

• Interface with The Scientific Free Software Package: SciLab
• NAS Benchmarks in 100 % Java ProActive
• Full and flexible MPI application deployment through XML descriptors
• Full-Fledged File Transfer

提升的地方包括:

•  Improvements of variables in XML descriptors
•  Bug fixed in the graphically triggered Mobility
•  Load-Balancing improvements
•  Restructured and upgraded Documentation (450 pages)
•  Improved N-Body application with 3D interface
• Non regression tests ran with success.
